Please read these terms carefully before using the AntiqueCake.com website.

How to insert an Ad
Advertising on AntiqueCake.com server is for free. For advertising on our website you do not pay any registration fees, fees for ads edition, percentage of sale or additional fees as it is at internet auctions. Please, read Terms of Use before each advertisement's entry to find out if your ad is not in conflict with them which could be the reason for its removal by the administrator. You can insert your new ad from any website of an advertisement server when you click on Post an Ad which you can find on the top right side. Follow by choosing a section you want to put your ad in. If you are advertising e.g. a book, do not put it in the section of Furniture. No one would look for it there; when administrator meets an ad which is in a wrong section he can remove it from the server.

Choose the type first, either the offer (you sell something or offer a job) or the demand (you look for something – any kind of thing, service or job). Choose a category according to the nature of your ad. Continue with filling in the concrete text of your advertisement – the title, description and price. It is required to mention all the necessary items in the description of the advertisement. If you advertise a car, state its mark, age, colour, type of fuel, cubature of engine etc. When inserting a job or a brigade offer then you state: the company's name and object of activities, minimal demands on the applicant, the object of work. By precise description of the advertised thing you make its look up easier by potential buyers. We advice you to only advertise one thing in one advertisement. If more things are desired to advertise, place them to separate advertisements please. Choose your country in the field Country and follow by specifying the location. Four pictures can be inserted into each ad and they might raise the demand of your advertisement. The picture has to have jpg format. It can be of any size as it will be automatically lessen to max 420x420 pixels. Obviously here applies: the larger the picture the longer the time to post it. The last field of inserting pictures concerns your personal data: name, telephone number, email address. In the case of commercial offer (as a businessman) state your business name followed by your password for the needs of editing or deleting the advertisement. Put anything that you will remember for your password.

By clicking on the button 'Post your Ad!' your advertisement will immediately appear in the section and category you have chosen. We advise you to check your advertisement and if you want to correct it, click on the same line as the ad's title on the right-hand side to the link label Delete/Edit. You can modify your ad after you choose Edit and insert your password. Your ad can be deleted in the same way (choose Delete). Your advertisement will be on the server for 3 months at the most. Five days before expire of this period a notification of your ad's expiry will be sent to your email address. If the automatic prolongation to the following 3 months is desired you only need to click on the link sent to you. If that is not done, your advertisement will be automatically deleted after the  3 months period.

How to edit an Ad
Every ad posted by you can be modified. Click right up on the label My Ads and put down your email address and telephone number. After clicking the button 'View my Ads' all your ads will be listed. Finally, simply by clicking on the label Delete/Edit which appears in the bottom part of your ad and by choosing Edit and inserting your password can you modify your ad.

How to delete an Ad
Every advertisement can be deleted in the same manner as it is edited. Your ad will be deleted immediately after you choose Delete and insert your password.

If you forget your password
Fill in any password in the ad you want to Delete/Edit. After you insert wrong password a site with the text will appear: 'You have inserted a wrong password. Your password was sent to your email address.' and your original password will be send to the email address stated in your ad.

How to find your Ad
The quickest way how to find your ad is to click on the right top label My Ads and fill in your email address and telephone number which you stated in the ad. All your ads will be listed after clicking the button 'View my Ads'.

How to search in Ads
A searching field serves for quick search in ads. It is located at the top centre of the each site. Your search can be specified by the choice of location of ads of which you are interested the most. Finally, put the name of the thing in the field of searching device and click on the button 'Search'. Look out! In a certain section, e.g. jewelry.antiquecake.com, the thing you look for will be searched for only in the particular section and not in all others. That is the reason we advise you to search from the main page.

The maximum number of Ads, storage period
The maximum number of ads added by one user is 30. The maximum time for a storage period of an ad is 3 months. Five days before the expiry of this period a notification of your ad's expiry will be sent to your email address. If the automatic prolongation to the following 3 months is desired you only need to click on the link sent to you. If that is not done, your advertisement will be automatically deleted after the 3 months period.

RSS channels
AntiqueCake has integrated RSS channels. If you have a browser that supports them (Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, Opera), you can easily guard e.g. your new ads in sections Silver. You only need to be in the particular section and click the RSS icon in your browser.
